The East Midlands First Thursday Club is an informal gathering exclusively for Construction Industry professionals, and has been running successfully for over six years. The Club counts amongst its members many of the premier players in the region. Our monthly meetings provide a unique opportunity for members to network and make new contacts with key people within the industry, and are held on the first Thursday of every month in Hart’s Hotel, Standard Hill, Park Row, Nottingham, NG1 8GN.

Each month there is the opportunity for one of our members to sponsor the meeting, an exceptional chance to market directly to the region’s construction professionals, all at a reasonable cost. The club is organised and managed on a non-profit making basis by our Founder Members. The Founder Members’ aim from the outset has been to enhance the profile of the region’s construction market and create a forum of like-minded people.

Members: Contractors, Architects, Consultants (Civil & M&E), Quantity Surveyors, Solicitors and Equipment suppliers. Senior members of staff only.

Date & time: 12.30 – 2.30pm on the first Thursday of every month.

Description: Invitation only, member company sponsored buffet lunch where like-minded construction individuals discuss regional developments, projects and issues. The member company benefits from the marketing at the event and are able to advertise their services as part of the sponsorship cost.

Membership: £105 joining fee per individual per company to cover administration of the club and any non-sponsored events. Cheques are to be made payable to ‘East Midlands First Thursday Club’.

Sponsorship: Booked in advance a £200 deposit is required to reserve the event of your choosing, this is fully refundable upon the successful completion of your event, the sponsoring member to pay the venue direct for the bar and buffet costs.
