The East Midlands First Thursday Club, is always looking for new members to keep the club, young and fresh.

Whilst the Club Administrator is always actively looking for new members, we would invite you our members to help in this search.

Should you know someone you feel would benefit from being a member of the East Midlands First Thursday Club, please pass their details to the Club Administrator. Once they join the club we will extend your current membership by 1 month for free.

FTC Goes Racing

Dear Member,

The founder members would like to invite you too a Special First Thursday Event to be held on Thursday 16th October 2008 (Nottingham Racecourse’s ‘Construction Day’). This special event will replace the First Thursday Events for the month of October.

This event offers an excellent networking opportunity, with the added bonus of being able to network with construction professionals from outside of the First Thursday Club.

Now for the good news, the Club as always will subsidise the event for our members, which means that club members will pay £85.00 towards tickets for each event. We have detailed below what will be included during the event, and we are sure you will agree that £85.00 is a very reasonable cost.

You also have the option to bring along a guest(s), you would however be requested to pay the full price of £150.00 per guest.

We will be producing a souvenir booklet within which we will be offering all members the opportunity to advertise, further details will be published shortly.

Conditions:

Unfortunately due to the costs involved with running these events we have had to draw up a few conditions.

• Attendance will be on a first come first served basis, due to limited numbers
• The October event all responses are required no later than 18^th August 2008
• All monies will be required by 1^st September 2008.
• Non attendees will forfeit all monies, the club will have to pay for maximum no. of people held by the hospitality suite regardless of numbers on the day
• The club will not post tickets until the money for the tickets has cleared our bank account
 

FTC Goes Racing - Advertising

Further to our recent communications relating to the FTC Goes Racing events 2008, we detail below the rates for advertising in the First Thursday Club publication.

This offer is open to all members regardless of whether you will be able to join us at the Racedays. The prices quoted below are for inclusion within all reprints of the June and October publications.

Like last year we will be handing out the publications to other Raceday goers at the Construction Day event on 16th October 2008. Thus further expanding your companies advertisement circulation within the local construction Industry. The club will also be using the publication to promote the club to potential new members. Last year we printed over 500 copies.

An invoice will be provided upon printing of the publication, Invoice to be paid within 7 days of receipt.

All adverts are printed in full colour.

We would ask that an electronic copy of your company’s logo be supplied along with the text and pictures you wish to appear. A proof will be sent to you prior to printing for your approval.
